National Teach-In On Climate Change


Grounds Management at Illinois State University is responsible for the maintenance of Illinois State’s 490 acre campus, which includes over 4000 trees, 6000 shrubs and 162 acres of green space as well as the 30 miles of sidewalk and 81 acres of parking lots (this number includes all the levels of the parking decks).
They have long been a supporter of environmental stewardship on our campus and in the community. Over the past several years, they have implemented several projects that have not only benefited our environment, but have also become examples to other universities and communities of environmental stewardship.
