Dorm Do-Over Goes Green

This year, the Dream Dorm Do-Over had a greener look to it. ISU alum and former HGTV host Claire Berger rose to the Green Team’s challenge of incorporating green elements into the room design.  We asked her to consider the three R’s – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.  From the hangers made from corn to the recycled paper desk accessories, it is obvious from her product choices that she took our suggestion to heart.  At the Big Reveal Berger also emphasized the importance of recycling or donating unwanted items when decluttering a room.  This Alumni Relations’ sponsored event took place during homecoming week.
